The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Residential Underwriting team, where you’ll play a key role in assessing home loan applications and delivering high‑quality credit decisions. In this fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment, you will exercise your delegated lending authority, ensure applications meet policy and regulatory requirements, and contribute to a smooth end‑to‑end lending experience.
You will work closely with our sales teams, Business Partners, and internal stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and uphold service standards. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on detail, enjoys problem‑solving, and wants to make a meaningful impact on customer outcomes.
Enough about us, lets talk about you
- Experience in residential lending with strong credit assessment skills
- Thrive in a fast‑paced environment and can efficiently manage competing priorities while maintaining high accuracy
- Strong understanding of NCCP, Privacy Act, and relevant state legislation
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing daily workflows, queues, and service standards
- Able to build strong working relationships and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment
- Commitment to delivering great customer outcomes
